Visiting a new church can come with a few questions. At Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ, we want you to feel welcome, comfortable, and free to grow in your faith. Whether you're visiting for the first time or looking for a church community to call home, we're happy to welcome you.
+ What will services be like?
Our Sunday worship services are centered on God's Word, inspirational worship, and growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ. At Pilgrim, we believe worship extends beyond the sanctuary into the way we live, love, and care for one another, like a family. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join us as we learn, worship, and grow together.
+ How long will service last?
Our Sunday worship services typically last approximately an hour and a half. We invite you to come ready to worship, connect with others, and spend time in fellowship. We look forward to welcoming you!
+ What should I wear?
Come as you are! Whether you prefer your Sunday best, a stylish outfit, or something more casual, we want you to feel comfortable worshipping with us. There is no need to worry about having the perfect outfit. You are welcome just as you are.
+ What happens other than Sunday Service?
There are several opportunities to connect and grow at Pilgrim throughout the week. Sunday School meets at 9:00 AM on Sundays, and Bible Study takes place on Tuesdays at 6:15 PM in person at the Community Center and via Zoom. We also offer opportunities for prayer, fellowship, Christian education, music, and community service through our ministries.
+ What about my kids?
Children are an important part of our church community! Pilgrim Pathfinders Children's Church meets on the first and third Sundays during worship, giving school-age kids an opportunity to explore their faith, learn about the love of Christ, and build friendships in an engaging environment. We look forward to welcoming your family. If you have questions about arrangements for your child's visit, please contact us before arriving.
+ Is this a Christian church?
Yes! Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ is a Christian church grounded in the teachings of the Bible and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to proclaim the Good News through worship, witnessing, and evangelism, empowering people to know the love of Jesus Christ and be liberated by the Holy Spirit.

+ How can I become involved?
The best way to get involved is to begin by attending worship regularly and getting to know the people of Pilgrim. From there, you can explore our ministries, participate in Bible Study or Sunday School, and discover opportunities to serve.
