MEET OUR STAFF

Rev. A. Keith Edwards is a native of Houston, Texas. He completed his  studies at Central Christian College located in McPherson, Kansas.

Rev. Edwards is versatile in many areas of ministry. He served as Area Director for Young Life, a para-church organization for youth for eighteen years. Upon leaving Young Life, Rev. Edwards served as the Associate Director for the Urban Youth Initiative in Memphis, Tennessee for five years where he taught and trained youth ministers how to develop and maintain ministry.

Upon his returning to Houston, Rev. Edwards came to Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ and served as the youth pastor. Shortly after that he became the Executive Pastor. In January of 2013, Rev. Edwards was called to become the Senior Pastor of Pilgrim Congregational U.C.C.

Rev. Edwards is married to Nanette D. Edwards and they are proud parents of a son, Bryan Dupont Gray.

God has truly blessed Rev. Edwards with several gifts and talents but none of them more meaningful and fulfilling as preaching and teaching the Word of God. His life is dedicated to helping spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
